Tournament Information

Team Trail Series (TTS)

The entry fee is $125 per tournament*. 80% payback to top 20% of field (based on paid entries).
*Team Trail Championship (TTC) entry fee is $315 for teams fishing 2 or less TTS tournaments before the TTC.
The Team Trail Series Final Standings Top 15 teams (based on finish points) automatically advance to compete at our Adult State Championship (SC). One (1) member of each team must compete as a Boater, one (1) as a Non-Boater. Additionally, both team members must be declared as TTS competitor partners** and be BNWV members before the first TTS tournament.

**Each team is permitted a 1-time substitute BNWV-member partner or may compete solo as many times as needed. Team members may be a member of different BNWV clubs.

Adult members may compete with a High School or Jr. member under 16 yrs. of age as a declared partner, but will not be eligible for Team Trail Series Final Standings Top 15.

College members must also be an Adult member to be eligible to compete.

Team Trail Series Champion Team receives free entry to following year’s TTS***.

Bassmaster Team Trail

Our Team Trail Series (TTS) is an authorized Bassmaster Team Trail. There is no B.A.S.S. Nation Team Trail entry fee for BNWV members. Based on the highest finishers in our Team Trail Series Final Standings, BNWV is eligible to send one (1) team for every twenty-five (25) teams competing in our TTS to that year’s Bassmaster Team Championship. One competitor from that Bassmaster Team Championship advances to compete at the Bassmaster Classic!

Adult Regional Opens

Open to public and all ethical anglers are invited to compete. For Opens with 20 or more boats competing, the 1st Place team receives free entry* to the following year’s Team Trail Series.

Adult Regional State Championship Qualifying Tournaments (SQTs)

We consist of three (3) Regions (Northern, Southeastern, and Western) with one (1) State Qualifying Tournament (SQT) for each Region’s clubs.  SQTs are draw tournaments and each club must send an equal number of Boaters/Non-Boaters, up to a maximum of six (6) Boaters and six (6) Non-Boaters, to compete. There is a no-tournament-payback $25 entry fee per competitor. Members are permitted to compete in one (1) SQT only and must be a member of a club within that Region. A maximum of fifty-five (55) Boaters and fifty-five (55) Non-Boaters will qualify from our SQTs to compete at our Adult State Championship (SC) SC allotment from each respective Regional SQT is determined by the number of clubs represented at each respective Regional SQT.      

Adult State Championship

There is a no-tournament-payback $25 entry fee per competitor for this two-day tournament with a maximum field of seventy (70) Boaters and seventy (70) Non-Boaters competing.

The Top 12 Finishers will automatically qualify for 6 Boater / 6 Non-Boater slots at the following year’s B.A.S.S. Nation Championship (BNC). The Top 6 Finishers will be offered first refusal to compete as a Boater.
