  2. Prepare your boat and launch as soon as possible. Blast-Off will begin as soon as registered competitors are checked in, but no later than 6:30am (Team Trail Series) or 7:00am, safe conditions permitting.
  3. National Anthem and a prayer will be broadcast, followed by a declaration of Official Time
  4. Flight Check-In Times & Location will be announced prior to Blast-Off.
  5. Tournament Weigh Team will blast-off before other competitors.
  6. Boats will then Blast-Off in numerical order.  Line up according to your Boat Number.  A Tournament Official will call Boat Numbers one at a time.  Idle safely past all boats and out of all No-Wake zones before blasting off.  After Blast-Off and during competition hours, all competitors are prohibited from passing another competitor boat underway in the same direction in No-Wake zones.
  7. GO FISH! 5 fish limit, 12″ minimum (any Special Lake Regulations will be announced prior to each Tournament).
  8. A 1 lb. penalty will be assessed for every minute each competitor is late for Check-In.  After 15 minutes late, competitors will be disqualified.
  9. After Check-In, drop partner off at the dock and idle out of the way until trailer is backed down the ramp.  If fishing alone, ask for assistance for trailering your boat, or wait for traffic to ease before trailering for yourself.
  10. Before leaving ramp, ensure that livewell will hold water and turn pumps on to recirculate water.
  11. BNWV provides Weigh-BagsDO NOT USE YOUR OWN BAGBNWV Weigh-Bag quantities are controlled to ensure ample space is available for fish care at our aerated & treated Dip Tanks.  Go to the Tournament Trailer and obtain a WEIGH-BAG W/ MESH LINER
  12. Fill Weigh-Bag with livewell water and place fish INSIDE THE MESH LINER.  Confirm that ALL fish are completely covered with water.  Time in the Weigh-Bag is the most stressful time for fish. It is important to limit this time as much as possible.  FISH CARE IS A PRIORITY.
  13. Bring fish (in BNWV Weigh-Bag) to Tournament Trailer Weigh-In Area.  Remove mesh liner (with fish inside), secure liner opening, then place & hold liner in aerated Dip Tank.  Dump livewell water on the ground, NOT IN DIP TANK.
  14. “Bump Table” Official will request your Boat Number, number of bass, and species (Largemouth, Smallmouth, Spotted).  Fish will then be checked to insure minimum size, and if alive.  Each short fish will result in a 1 lbs. penalty and will not be weighed.  Each dead fish will result in a .25 lbs. penalty.
  15. Weighmaster will then weigh all legal fish.  Once Weigh Scales lock, a receipt will print. Each competitor or Team will then receive their receipt.
  16. All protests must be filed in writing within 15 minutes of closing of the Weigh Scales and presented to the Tournament Committee.
  17. Once Weigh Scales close & finish order is verified, top finishers will be announced and awards presented.
